VICIOUSLY SATISFYING RETRO FPS SPRAWL BRINGS BULLET TIME BLOODLUST TO PLAYSTATION 5 AND XBOX SERIES X THIS NOVEMBER

The merciless minds at developer MAETH have announced that gory and gratifying cyberpunk movement shooter SPRAWL will launch this November on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Become a former special operations super soldier named SEVEN and embark on a quest for atonement in the eponymous megalopolis. Visually inspired by anime classics like Akira and Ghost in the Shell, in addition to real-world phenomena like Kowloon Walled City, SPRAWL builds from the foundations of classic first-person shooters while elevating the genre in gruesome new ways.

Armed with the icarus cybernetic implant, perform gravity-defying wall-running maneuvers and slow down time to survive the corrupt military regime’s hordes. Massacre to the beat of a dynamic industrial soundtrack that responds to your actions and progression. Abide by FATHER’s directive inside your head to achieve your long-awaited redemption before the SPRAWL consumes us all.

Haunted by her slaughter of innocent civilians during a failed military operation, SEVEN lives in exile on the outskirts of the SPRAWL. As she awaits death in solitude, a voice inside her mind explains the junta has decided to terminate her. The voice, FATHER, instructs SEVEN to travel to the SPIRE, the towering needle protruding from the city’s center, to dismantle the regime and fulfill her penance.

SEVEN obediently complies.

“Government forces have had enough of… anomalous factors interfering. Rebels, hackers, unaccounted for ex-military runaways such as yourself,” says FATHER as SEVEN walks past a neighbor’s charred remains. “This is what your fate had in mind for you… Until I stepped in.”

On the streets of this megalopolis, every shootout is a high-speed game of combat chess. Use the super soldier’s icarus implant to calculate every headshot and determine when to use the powerhouse shotgun to jump out of range. Perfectly time every wallrunning maneuver to decapitate in midair, blast off skulls with a quick trigger pull, or slice operatives into pieces.

Think fast and adapt to survive a variety of enemy types like rapid-fire SMG elites, charging riot guards, and mechanical dogs. Solve each combat encounter creatively to reap different rewards like increased ammo drops, health boosts, and bullet time meter refills. SEVEN’s path to the SPIRE will be paved with blood. No one says redemption is easy.

SPRAWL will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X this November. For more information, please follow the game on Twitter, subscribe on YouTube, and join the official Discord community.
