Extended Gameplay Trailer for “Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream” Released

Developer River End Games and publisher Nordcurrent Labs are delighted to offer fans of the upcoming narrative-focused stealth adventure game Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream a new extended gameplay trailer featuring a runtime twice as long as the version that premiered last week during the PC Gaming Show: Most Wanted livestream. 

In the extended gameplay trailer, Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream‘s engaging stealth mechanics and incredibly realized world are fully displayed. Viewers can take in the richly crafted cityscape of the titular city of Eriksholm and begin to discover how protagonists Hanna, Alva, and Sebastian can uniquely interact with their environments and evade (or incapacitate) those who mean them (and the fellow downtrodden citizens of Eriksholm) harm.

In addition to the release of the extended gameplay trailer, the latest episode of Inside Unreal delves into Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream‘s use of Unreal Engine 5’s MetaHuman technology to propel the game’s storytelling and its actors’ performances to new heights. In Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream, major story events are presented to players as cinematic, in-engine cutscenes featuring highly detailed characters. With just 15 developers, River End Games has achieved a production quality that rivals top-tier AAA studios, blending cutting-edge technology with masterful storytelling in Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream, proving that passion and talent know no bounds.

Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream is a character-driven single-player game set in the titular Eriksholm — a fictitious city in a world with a Nordic-inspired, early 1900s aesthetic. Players will navigate through the densely detailed streets and dreary underground of the city of Eriksholm, utilizing each of the game’s three playable protagonists’ unique skills, tools, and weapons to overcome obstacles and solve puzzles. Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream is the premier title from developer River End Games, a studio founded by a group of industry veterans whose credits include BattlefieldLittle NightmaresMirror’s Edge, and Unravel.

Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream will be released in 2025 on Windows PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Fans can wishlist Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream on all platforms now.
