MOTHER Games Releases Teaser for Le Zoo, Set to Debut in 2025

MOTHER Games, a Brooklyn-based art and media company that creates transformative experiences, today announces the teaser for its first indie title, Le Zoo. The teaser is a look into a new game set to debut in 2025, helmed by a team of industry-leading creatives.

Le Zoo isn’t just a game – it’s a deeply personal, emergent role play experience where “the only way out is within.” The game storyline is driven by you and a plot of self discovery inside a virtual theme park with friends. The missions and progression sit on top of ancient wisdom, including a range from Maslow’s hierarchy of needs and Buddhist philosophy conceptsBuilt using an in-house AI layer called Womb (set to debut in Q1 2025) Le Zoo’s personalized and emergent gameplay becomes a space for transformative experiences, allowing players to experiment, learn, and connect. From puzzles that challenge mental skills to surrealist dating simulation games or missions with friends that unlock new skills, Le Zoo delivers a trippy and deeply personal journey designed to break players free of the zookeeper mentality and play a social game that mimics the game of life.

Directed by Dina Amer (You Resemble Me) and Kelsey Falter, co-founder of MOTHER Games, the teaser blends live-action storytelling with surreal animation to craft a visually stunning and thought-provoking introduction to the game. Giacomo Mora, (Moana 2, Super Mario Bros Movie), served as Animation Supervisor. Brian Alcazar, known for his dynamic production work on titles including Grand Theft Auto 5, brought his expertise as an Executive Producer, while Christof Stanits, an award-winning digital artist and creative engineer, contributed cutting-edge visuals and custom engineering.

Le Zoo is in private alpha with testers; set for public access in 2025.

About Le Zoo
Le Zoo, the first indie title out of MOTHER, appeals to modern gamers by offering a mashup of experiences within a single title. Le Zoo aims to reignite childlike wonder in its adult players by creating a game world that delves deep into the modern human experience. By exposing the code that runs beneath the surface of our daily lives, Le Zoo empowers players to make consequential choices about how they play the game, interact with others and move through realms—and, ultimately, how those choices translate beyond the edges of the screen. Le Zoo serves as a mirror, reflecting the hidden aspects of our psyche and society, allowing players to see clearly, for perhaps the first time.
