Sleepypod Unveils Clickit Range Car Safety Harness, Addressing the Challenge of Restraining Dogs with Narrow and Deep Chests

“Like humans, dogs come in all shapes and sizes, so car harnesses designed for the average dog shape do not address the unique sighthound shape,” says Michael Leung, Sleepypod lead product designer and co-founder.

Sleepypod crash-tested Clickit Range at the U.S. child safety seat standard FMVSS 213. Using DASH 1.0, Sleepypod’s proprietary sighthound-shaped crash test dog, Clickit Range kept the dog simulant on the seat for the duration of the test while minimizing lift and rotation.
