Matic Sofa Collection by Knoll Now Available in North America

Knoll debuts Matic Sofa, an adaptable island-like sofa collection designed in collaboration with Italian designer Piero Lissoni. Following the introduction of Lissoni’s Panoramic Sofa in North America last fall, Knoll expands its portfolio of the designer’s products in this region with this innovative seating solution.

Inspired by the idea of a platform suspended in space, Matic is distinct in its ability to quickly meet the needs of any environment. With a modular design and four distinct configurations – Sofa, Chaise Sectional, L-Shaped Sectional, and One-Arm Sectional – the sofa provides ample space for sitters to relax in a variety of positions – from socializing at a gathering, to reading, to simply unwinding.

Delivering even more flexibility, Matic features a unique curved back with an internal mechanism that can be turned to adjust comfort. Seamlessly adding depth, each side of the curved backrests can be bent to a choice of two additional positions, providing added comfort for relaxation or conversation.

A timeless addition for everywhere from an office lounge or a hotel lobby to a great room, Matic is a beautiful nod to Florence Knoll’s legacy of creating simple and flexible pieces that can fit in any setting. Matic can also quickly transform through a number of different fabric or leather options. Its aluminum frame is available with a glossy or charcoal painted finish.

Matic Sofa can be purchased in stores and online with a starting price of $9,995. The sofa is available to contract customers through authorized Knoll and MillerKnoll dealers.
