Ergatta, the leading game-based home fitness brand, is excited to announce the launch of Rowbot, a fully customizable competitor designed to motivate users and facilitate training in Ergatta’s Race workout experience. The Rowbot launch marks a step forward in Ergatta’s quest to create the most personalized, inspiring, and habit-forming digital fitness ecosystem imaginable for all of its members, regardless of their fitness level or prior rowing experience.
Rowbot takes inspiration from “pace setting”, a strategy used in competitive running whereby a mock runner leads the group at a predetermined speed to encourage fast times. For Ergatta’s most competitive members, Rowbot will serve that purpose—pushing the limits of what they believe possible and driving them to set new personal records. But Rowbot will play other roles, too. Members might have Rowbot guide them at a steady pace for long endurance Races, which require restraint and sustained effort. Members might also choose to warm up and cool down with Rowbot, helping them settle into the relaxed pace that’s critical for injury prevention and recovery.
