The app syncs birthdays in two ways to make sure no one gets missed. First, it pulls in birthdays from the contacts already saved locally on your phone. Second, it adds network birthdays by connecting with other Candl users through shared contacts. This dual system helps users build a complete birthday calendar for close friends and family, and anyone in their extended network.
Candl includes a horoscope matching and compatibility ranking that lets users explore zodiac insights tied to their contacts’ birthdays. The feature adds an extra layer of connection to each birthday celebration whether users follow astrology closely or just enjoy it for fun.
