Gameforge Looks Back on 2025 This Month’s News Roundup

As we close the curtain on 2025, Gameforge is looking back fondly at what was a very community-focused year, with major updates for its long-standing MMO titles keeping their respective communities entertained with new worlds to uncover and new tales to be told.

NosTale (PC)

Explore the Multiverse in Act 10 – Dimensional Tales

With Act 10 – Dimensional Tales, Gameforge opens the next chapter in the MMORPG NosTale, taking players on an exciting journey across multiple dimensions. On their quest, brave adventurers must face various dangers to put an end to the chaos. But that’s not all: The popular Snowman Raid and the Raid against Maru the Tiger are also back. In addition, there’s a daily login calendar with special winter rewards, just in time for the holiday season, as well as the chance to collect letters to spell “Happy New Year” and collect extra rewards.

Ikariam (PC) 

New Possibilities with “Infinite Horizons” and a Look Ahead to Winter

This year, Ikariam continued the Infinite Horizons expansion with its third milestone: the new Chronos Forge, which permanently reduces construction and upgrade times in cities. Elsewhere, the late game and economy were rebalanced, including adjusted caps, more powerful workshop upgrades, and fine-tuning of production, fleets and the military. The “Abyssal Ambush” event is also set to return at the end of the year, with special winter and New Year’s versions, where players team up to fight monstrous sea monsters. Last but not least, additional resources, premium items, achievements and exclusive city banners also await the most successful strategists.

AION Classic (PC) 

Update 4.0 and Solorius Festival

A few weeks ago, Gameforge released update 4.0 for AION Classic EU, bringing players a wealth of new content to the beloved MMORPG. Among other things, role-playing fans can experience adventures in a new way with the new Luminess class, explore challenging dungeons, and face powerful bosses. Various winter and Christmas-themed activities are also planned for December, such as the traditional Solorius Festival, which runs until January 14.

Sci-Fi Browser Game Adds Achievements, Winter Space Battles, and New Season Servers

The evergreen browser game received a major update this fall, with 570 new achievements added alongside the debut of seasons. The update also allows players to create a profile to showcase their accomplishments with their fellow space strategists. Plus, for the winter season, Gameforge is launching new servers today, offering special rewards such as festive avatars, different planet skins, titles, and achievement points. Players can prove their skills by completing achievements over the next 12 weeks, at which point the season servers will be converted back to regular servers.

Metin2 (PC)

Tyranny of Aamon Heats Up the Winter

Just last month, Gameforge released Tyranny of Aamon, the biggest update of the year for the oriental action MMO Metin2. Since then, players have been exploring the Moonshadow Valley in search of new adventures, proving their strength in new dungeons and facing not only the cunning Aamon, but also other villains wreaking havoc in this expansive world. Quiet winter evenings? Not in the Moonshadow Valley…
