From Great Trees to Xmas Trees: “Smalland: Survive the Wilds” Drops Yuletide Event with Festive Facelift, Seasonal Weaponry, Building Parts and More! 

 Today, Maximum Entertainment publisher Merge Games is delighted to drop the first in-game world event for ‘Smalland: Survive the Wilds’! Available now until 4th Jan, the Yuletide event overhauls the Overland with festive decorations along with a brand-new set of Xmas themed weaponry. With candy canes, baubles, and a familiar face kitted out for the holidays, players can also get into the swing of party season with the introduction of dedicated multiplayer servers! Starting from today, community rental servers and official ‘Smalland’ servers will be available to all players! Join one of our official servers for free and adventure with others in a persistent world. Dropping a little extra gift for players from 21st December, the second half of the Yuletide event adds expanded construction options with building parts able to be scaled up to double size or scaled down to half size for even more design flexibility. The event also brings 25 brand new cosmetic items to use around your home base, such as five toy soldiers hidden throughout the map and wall-mounted insect trophies.

Currently in Early Access and launching in V1.0 to PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, ‘Smalland: Survive the Wilds’ is the multiplayer adventure that challenges players to survive at the bottom of the food chain in an oversized world. Developed and published in-house, ‘Smalland: Survive the Wilds ‘ launched to Early Access via Steam and Epic back in March, hitting a peak of over 52k daily players in launch week and garnering over 1.9 million Twitch watch hours to date.

Meet Merchant Claus! Smalland’s resident trader gets into the swing of the Xmas season with his festive fit change, dealing in all manner of Yuletide treats. Available only until 4th Jan, players can get their hands on 4 Christmas themed weapon variants, Yuletide metal Hammer, Bow, Wooden Sword and Metal Sword.

Coming in the second part of the Yuletide event, players can get creative with all new advanced building controls from 21st December. Introducing the ability to scale building parts to up to double or down to half size opening up a whole new realm of possibilities for base building in Smalland: Survive the Wilds. Alongside this, 25 brand new cosmetic items including mushroom dining set, golden Aetherin décor, toy soldiers and more. 
Long awaited dedicated server support is also finally here! To date, multiplayer adventures have been limited to peer-to-peer connections, but no more! Official server support arriving today to ‘Smalland: Survive the Wilds’, with a variety of options for players. Server rentals are available to players wanting to host their own worlds, with official Smalland servers available free to all players from today! Server files are also on the way and coming soon for players looking to host their own worlds.
