DUO provides a full 270° rotation, with the option for a 180° presentation mode, so consumers can choose an optimal viewing angle for any situation. Additionally, users can slide DUO to either side of their laptop screen.
DUO’s ABS plastic exterior helps the portable screen withstand any wear and tear that comes with transporting and travelling with a laptop. Weighing only 1.5 pounds, DUO provides the true mobility needed to move from workspace to workspace.
While working at Amazon, Mechanical Engineer and DUO’s creator, Jack Yao, was constantly frustrated by the lack of a secondary monitor that could help him work more efficiently. Yao decided to build a secondary monitor from a broken laptop that soon became an office sensation and paved way for DUO. “My team and I love this idea and we have worked for more than a year to make this a reality,” he said. “We were funded by MIT, who believed in our idea from the start and provided us with the necessary guidance to keep iterating. Soon, this cool computer accessory will be in the hands of the public, allowing people to be more productive and work more efficiently.”
