With only two days remaining, the Dragonbane: Trudvang Kickstarter from Free League Publishing has surpassed $1,000,000 in pledges, far exceeding its initial funding goal of $26,720. Built on the award-winning Dragonbane system and developed under license from CMON, the stand-alone Nordic fantasy tabletop roleplaying game invites players to explore the mythical world of Trudvang through four beautifully illustrated volumes.
The campaign reached full funding within four minutes of launch, raising more than $100,000 in less than 20 minutes. Early backers who pledged for physical rewards within the first 48 hours received an exclusive bonus art print featuring new Core Rulebook cover art by acclaimed fantasy illustrator Paul Bonner.
Several stretch goals have already been unlocked during the campaign, including:

- Solo mode gameplay rules

Four illustrated volumes bring the world of Trudvang to life: the Dragonbane: Trudvang Core Rulebook, covering characters, professions, heroic abilities, and magic; The World of Trudvang, exploring the realm’s lands, history, and faiths; Jorgi’s Bestiary, featuring the strange and dangerous creatures that inhabit the setting; and The Saga of the Black Star, a revised four-part campaign published in English for the first time.
