NOMATIC is on a Roll with its Popular Roller Luggage Line, Surpassing $1 Million in Presales on Kickstarter

With presales of its new roller luggage line surpassing $1 million on Kickstarter, more than four-times the campaign goal, NOMATIC has another hit on its hands with its extremely durable and functional luggage designed to make packing and traveling a breeze.

“We are very grateful that our thousands of loyal customers who love our travel products have embraced our NOMATIC Roller Line,” said NOMATIC co-founder Jacob Durham. “Like our earlier travel bags, our backers will find our rollers are loaded with tech features and functionality to streamline travel for life on the move.”

Designed for lifetime durability, made with a 100 percent Makrolon Polycarbonate Shell, The NOMATIC Roller Luggage Line includes the NOMATIC Carry On Pro, the NOMATIC Carry On Classic, and the NOMATIC Check-in. Each features a magnetic strap system to allow compression on all or part of the suitcase – along with compression cubes to keep belongings organized and to maximize packing space.

The NOMATIC Carry On Pro, with a 29-liter capacity, is designed for frequent travelers who make one-to-three-day trips, or for the minimalist packer who wants to travel with just one bag without sacrificing the benefits of two. The Carry On Pro features a patent pending tech compartment designed for instant access at TSA checkpoints. It includes a tech case with a removable shoulder strap that can easily store a laptop, tablet, chargers, power banks and compact headphones.

The NOMATIC Carry On Classic, with a 30-liter capacity, is designed for people who want to pack a little more or are going on three-to-five day trips, while the NOMATIC Check-in, with a 50-liter capacity, is designed for travelers taking extended trips or for family travel.
All the luggage comes with compression cubes that fit perfectly to keep belongings organized and maximize space. Additional cubes can be purchased as an add-on.

Other features include:

  • Internal pockets and organization
  • Top-of-the-line silent-run Hinomoto wheels that are built to last
  • A patent-pending tech compartment
  • Low profile Hinomoto handles that can take on heavy loads
  • External YKK zippers
  • A three-stage aluminum handle that can take a beating

After hundreds of requests from customers to develop a bag with wheels, the NOMATIC Team spent two years and tested more than 25 prototypes before introducing the roller line.

“Built with the strongest materials in their class, a unique magnetic compression system and its cool patent-pending tech compartment, this luggage was created so you can enjoy your journey completely, wherever your travels take you,” Durham added. “We believe luggage should be strong, packing should be easy, and travel should be seamless, so we designed each piece of our roller luggage to do just that.”

About NOMATIC
NOMATIC began in 2014 when two cousins, Jon Richards and Jacob Durham, designed a wallet and launched it on Kickstarter. They expected to get about 50 orders, but over 6,000 people backed their campaign, investing $171,000. Since then, Richards and Durham have raised more than $9.7 million through eight crowdfunding campaigns, as NOMATIC continues to design the most functional products on the market for travel and everyday carry. Everything NOMATIC creates, from Travel Packs to Planners, is designed to inspire confidence for ‘life-on-the-move,’ to enable people to work hard, do more and never stop moving.
