Verizon Wireless Outage in Western PA

UPDATE 2 09:24 According to an article from WTAE in Pittsburgh, Verizon has acknowledged the outage and said the issue has been repaired, and service has been restored.

UPDATE 08:26 It appears the outage in Western Pennsylvania is growing and affecting a larger portion of the state. Remember, in event of a complete outage, your phone will not be able to call for emergency services. If you are able to with your phone, you should always have WiFi calling set up. This SHOULD still allow you to contact someone in case of an emergency.

Looks like some people in Western Pennsylvania are experiencing some outages this morning. According to Downdetector.com, there appear to be widespread outages in the Greater Pittsburgh are and north of the city.

It also appears that Youngstown Ohio and Wheeling West Virginia are experiencing outages,
