Engines

Propellers

Landing Gear

Landing gear helps a plane to take off and land safely. It usually includes wheels, but some aircraft have skis or floats. During takeoff, the landing gear raises so it’s out of the way of the propellers or jet exhaust. And during landing, it’s lowered so the plane can slow down and stop.
