Trailer Presents Farming Simulator Timeline & Milestones
On April 14th, 2008, the very first Farming Simulator was released on PC – kicking off a new franchise that continuously evolved into a major gaming brand. Along the way, many milestones have been achieved, as the Anniversary Trailer shows: From cooperative multiplayer with Farming Simulator 2011 and the introduction of the portable entries of the series with Farming Simulator 2012, followed by console versions in 2013, over the creation of an official eSports league with Farming Simulator 19, up to cross-platform multiplayer with Farming Simulator 22.

“We have to express our gratitude to all the fans who joined the ride over the years”, comments Christian Ammann, CEO of GIANTS Software. “Especially those, who have been with us since the beginning, and all the talented, engaged fans who created an almost unfathomable amount of user-generated content. Rest assured, we will continue to make Farming Simulator even greater in the future, together with you and our partners.”

Farming Simulator – An Essential Pillar For Modding-Community and Manufacturers
From the beginning, GIANTS Software maintained close contact with agricultural industry and related companies, and the current game features more than 150 official brands. While GIANTS Software continuously extends Farming Simulator 22 with free and paid content to introduce even more renowned agricultural brands, brand-new machinery and additional gameplay elements, modding is not only allowed, but strongly supported.

As the company now discloses, 2.5 billion mods have been downloaded over the course of the series and multiple platforms. The company’s dedication for user-generated content is also proven by the fact that the internal QA department not only curates, but actively tests submitted mods while official mod tools and tutorials are provided.

Farming Simulator 22 is available for PC, Mac, PlayStation®5 (PS5™), Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation®4 and Xbox One. A Year 2 Season Pass is available, which includes four packs and an expansion – fans save up to 30% compared to getting the content separately. Farming Simulator 23, a new mobile version, will be released on May 23, 2023. Pre-orders for Farming Simulator 23: Nintendo Switch™ Edition are available at selected retail stores and the Nintendo eShop. The mobile versions for iPhone, iPad, and Android™ devices are featured in the App Store and on Google Play, respectively.
