“Becoming Pablo” Drops Explosive First Trailer and Fresh Creative Assets

Today, Tentworks Interactive, an independent game studio based in India and the US, revealed a first-look trailer for the upcoming strategy sim Becoming Pablo. Fusing city building, RTS, and resource management, Becoming Pablo lets you build an empire within the drug trade — but then you’ll need to survive it.

Becoming Pablo is set in the gritty underworld of the 1970s–90s Colombian drug trade, where power is earned through strategy, cunning decisions, and perseverance. Players will lead their cartels by conquering territories, managing sprawling operations across regions like Nigeria and Korea, outmaneuvering rival factions, and establishing themselves as the true kings of the brutal drug trade. Whether it be through expanding their domains, defending home turf, or navigating cartel politics, every choice made will determine the empire’s rise or contribute to its downfall.
