Arsenal Flagship Multimedia Receiver Angle

Las Vegas, Jan 7, 2014 – JVC Mobile Entertainment, the premier developer and manufacturer of sophisticated mobile, audio, and video products, today introduced their new line of in-dash receivers capable of delivering a high-quality in-car listening and operational experience of iHeartRadio, Clear Channel’s free all-in-one digital radio service. Eight new In-Dash CD, three new Digital Media Receivers, and two new HDMI-based Multimedia Receivers will display and allow control of the service when connected to compatible iOS devices. In-dash receivers with Bluetooth® wireless technology support iHeartRadio’s service when paired with compatible Android smartphones.

iHeartRadio allows listeners to easily access more than 1,500 Live Radio Stations from across the country or create their own Custom Stations from a catalog of more than 450,000 artists and 18 million songs. Users can also quickly browse through a directory of radio stations by genre and location, or can scan stations to find their favorite.  JVC’s iHeartRadio integration provides in-dash access to a variety of other features including thumbs up/thumbs down, discovery tuner and more.

Users can download the made-for-driving “iHeartRadio for Auto” (iHeartAuto) app to their smartphone for use with compatible JVC Multimedia stereos. These stereos feature either a 6.1” or 7” touch-panel LCD display and allow listeners to see the Title, Artist Name, Album Art, Station Name and Logo of what’s currently playing, as well as operate the Play, Stop, Live Scan, and Pause commands. Users can also navigate both Live and Custom Stations straight from the receiver’s controls as well as create Custom Stations instantly from the current song playing.

iHeartRadio is available for compatible CD and Digital Media Receivers by downloading “iHeart Link for JVC.” These receivers display iHeartRadio as its own menu source with on-screen controls.  Both iHeartAuto and iHeart Link for JVC apps are free and available in the iTunes and Google Play stores.
CD and Digital Media Receivers compatible with iHeartRadio start shipping this month at a MSRP of $89.95 while compatible Multimedia receivers will start at a MSRP of $549.95 and ship in March.
