JVC MOBILE ENTERTAINMENT DEBUTS NEW MULTIMEDIA LINEUP WITH IPHONE 5 AND MHL-BASED ANDROID CONNECTIVITY SOLUTIONS

JVC Mobile Entertainment, the premier developer and manufacturer of sophisticated mobile, audio, and video products, today introduced seven new in-dash receivers in its multimedia product line-up. Two new receivers will support display for both iPhone® 5 and MHL-based Android smartphones while all receivers support 20 apps for iPhone 4 and 4s including navigation services such as MotionX-GPS Drive and Waze. All new Multimedia receivers are SiriusXM-Ready™ and compatible with the SXV200 SiriusXM Connect Vehicle Tuner Kit (sold separately, SiriusXM subscription required) as well as Dual Zone capable which allows both rear seat and front seat passengers to view different content sources. Bluetooth models support hands-free phone calls and wireless music streaming, as well as one push voice dialing, POI search, music cueing, and other phone function controls via Siri Eyes-Free-Mode for supported iOS devices and via voice command for compatible smartphones.The KW-V50BT Multimedia DVD/CD/USB Receiver with HDMI features a 7-inch fully motorized variable color WVGA display, Built-in Bluetooth® Wireless Technology, rear USB port with 2-way iPod control and App Link Mode feature. App Link Mode allows on-screen display and control of 20 compatible apps via a connected iPhone 4 or 4s. It is compatible with both MHL or HDMI-based cell phones and iPhone® 5 devices via optional accessories and also features a fully-customizable tile-based GUI with variable colors, fonts, and layout capability.  It is SiriusXM-Ready™, compatible with Pandora Internet Radio and iHeart Radio, and also features 4 Volt Front, Rear, and Subwoofer Line Outputs. The receiver will be shipping in April at a MSRP of $599.95.

The KW-V30BT Multimedia/DVD/CD/USB Receiver with HDMI will be available as a 6.1” WVGA monitor version with rotary volume control dial and front AUX input jack. It will also be shipping in March at an MSRP of $529.95.
