Oxnard, CA – Planet Audio, a leading manufacturer of mobile electronics, is now shipping the PGR45B Marine Gauge Radio Series.

The new PGR45B 60W x 4 gauge radio fits into a standard 3.5” opening and features A2DP Audio Streaming with MP3 and WMA playback.  The rear of the unit features a 3.5 mm auxiliary input as well as a charging USB input.  The feature packed unit includes AM/FM and RDS as well as a Weather Band Tuner that can be switched between US and European Tuner Frequencies.  A ZERO Current Draw Memory ensures that radio presets are not lost when the battery is disconnected.  The PGR45B is IPX6 rated, which allows for trouble-free performance in wet environments.

Planet Audio is also shipping the PGR42R remote that allows for remote control of the PGR45B when connected via the PGR25C 25’ cable.  This allows for dual zone control on boats, RVs and other applications where a wired remote is needed.

“Planet Audio has continued our growth into the Power Sports and Marine category and the PGR45B series shows our understanding and commitment to the category,” said National Sales Manager, Jason Hannon. “Whether in a side by side, RV or marine application, the new Planet Audio Gauge radios are designed to deliver an exceptional user experience.”
