The official launch comes after a successful beta phase and soft launch of the product. With BaseLink, Milo communicates wirelessly with users’ routers and since it’s not tethered to an ethernet cord, the device can be placed on the farthest edge of a network, allowing it to push the signal as far as possible. Meanwhile, Milo’s SmartSeek technology optimizes network paths by delegating signal communication across multiple radios in each Milo device. If Milo detects that a frequency band or channel is occupied, it will choose the next best route without interrupting any existing communication. Ultimately, this allows Milo to distribute the signal with minimal degradation between units, so users can stream movies, play games and surf the web as if they were connected directly to their router from the outermost corners of their home.
