STATESVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA (May 30, 2018) – Improve the power, torque and sound of your Ford 5.0L Coyote V8 with Kooks Headers and Exhaust’s new complete line of headers and exhaust components.

Kooks Headers and Exhaust offers a large combination of components to mix and match, to produce a unique sound and add horsepower to your Mustang. Headers come in three diameters: 1 ¾-inch, 1 7/8-inch and 2-inch, all into a 3-inch venturi-style collector. Two center section options are available, when ordering a cat-back or complete header and exhaust system: A X pipe, for top end power and an aggressive tone; and a H pipe, designed for more torque and a deeper sound.

Features

  • A large variety of header and exhaust kits to OEM connections
  • Axle-back system features louder bullet-style mufflers
  • Cat-back and Axle-back kits available with black- or polished-finished tips

Kits are also available with three mid-pipe options: ultra-high performance GREENCATS, high-flow race catalytic converters, and non-catalytic converter connections—designed for racing applications. GREENCATS are designed to lower emissions, withstand up to 900 hp and 1500 degrees of exhaust gas temperature and include a two-year warranty. GREENCATS are highly recommended for any forced-induction applications, and the use of high-flow race catalytic converters on any forced-induction application will void Kooks Headers and Exhaust warranty.

Kooks Headers and Exhaust headers and connections will work with OEM or aftermarket cat-back system. Kooks Headers and Exhaust offers a simple adapter to keep a true, full 3-inch exhaust when mating a header and connection kit to another company’s aftermarket cat-back systems.

Exhaust kits eliminate dual-valve-exhaust modes, but a mount on the muffler maintains solenoid function, thus eliminating any error codes from the vehicle. An ECU tune is recommended with complete exhaust systems. Kooks Headers and Exhaust using a stock 5.0L Coyote with a tune, witnessed rear-wheel gains of up to 77 hp and 66 ft/lbs of torque.

Provided with each kit is the necessary installation hardware including header gaskets, clamps and Stage 8 locking bolts. Exhaust kits are available now at KooksHeaders.com or through a Kooks Headers and Exhaust dealer. Visit KooksHeaders.com for more information and select the “Dealer” tab to find a local dealer.
