NASA Awards Electrical Systems Engineering Services Contract

NASA has awarded the Electrical Systems Engineering Services (ESES) III contract to Science Systems and Applications, Inc. (SSAI) of Greenbelt, Maryland.  

ESES III is a cost-plus-award-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a maximum ordering value of $493 million. The contract has a 60-day phase-in period that begins Sept. 2, and a five-year effective ordering period from the effective contract date of Nov. 1. ESES III was awarded as a small business set aside.

Under this contract, SSAI will provide electrical/electronic engineering support services and related work to the Engineering and Technology Directorate at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland. The work includes the study, design, development, fabrication, integration, testing, verification and operations of spaceflight, airborne and ground system hardware and software, including development and validation of new technologies to enable future space and science missions. 

The work will be performed at various NASA locations and the contractor’s offsite facilities.
