SEMA Show 2018 New Product Rollout

Axxess Integrate® by Metra Electronics® is introducing even more solutions to their newest product lines, including harnesses for the AX-ADDCAM series and three new steering wheel control retention interfaces for the AX-Series. Additional new products include new amplifier bypass harnesses, a simple voltage control trigger (AX-SVT) and several new radio replacement interfaces for various vehicle applications. Additional Toyota, Mazda and Fiat personalization retention interfaces, Harley-Davidson® AX-DSP harnesses and Ford AX-DSP packages will also be introduced at the show.

“At CES this year, we debuted new product lines for adding aftermarket cameras, retaining custom personalization features and our improved AX-Series technology and design. At the 2017 SEMA show, we introduced the patented AX-DSP Digital Signal Processor. Now, for SEMA 2018, we’re adding more vehicle-specific solutions to expand our new product lines to cover a wider range of applications,” says Juan Lugo, Director of Product Development for Axxess.

AX-ADDCAM Harnesses
For SEMA 2018, Axxess is adding three new plug-n-play harnesses for select Chrysler/Dodge, Fiat and Mazda applications. The universal AX-ADDCAM camera switching interface (sold separately), is used to integrate multiple cameras to the factory radio while still retaining the factory camera. The plug-n-play harnessing saves installers valuable time during the installation process and is designed for select vehicle applications, used with the AX-ADDCAM interface.
Harnesses:
AX-ADDCAM-CH3
Chrysler/Dodge 2011-Up*
AX-ADDCAM-CH6
Fiat 2015-Up*
AX-ADDCAM-MAZ1
Mazda 2013-Up* (with full-color screen)

AX-Series Interfaces for Toyota and Hyundai/Kia
Three new AX-Series interfaces are debuting for select Toyota and Hyundai/Kia models. The recently improved AX-Series with patented Auto-Detect technology provides an easy to install solution for radio replacement and integration. A new reset button between the two Micro-Fit™ connectors allows for a much easier way to reset the interface if required. All of the vehicle-specific interfaces provide accessory power (12-volt 10-amp), retains R.A.P. (Retained Accessory Power) and retains audio controls on the steering wheel. The interface also provides NAV outputs (parking brake, reverse and speed sense) and all harnessing is cloth taped for a clean installation.

Amplifier Bypass Harnesses
Nine new amplifier bypass harnesses for select Chrysler, GM, Lexus, Toyota and Ford applications are joining the already extensive product line from Axxess. Installers use these vehicle-specific harnesses to bypass the factory amplifier, allowing loose wires to wire to an aftermarket amplifier. This simple solution saves the installer unnecessary labor and wire when upgrading a sound system. The following new products will be released at SEMA:
AX-AB-CH2 – Chrysler 2007-Up* Vehicles
AX-AB-CH3 – Chrysler 2013-2018 Vehicles
AX-AB-CH4 – Chrysler 2015-Up* Vehicles
AX-AB-GM1 – GM 2014-Up* Vehicles
AX-AB-LX1 – Lexus 2013-Up* Vehicles
AX-AB-LX2 – Lexus 2006-2009 Vehicles
AX-AB-LX3 – Lexus 2010-2013 Vehicles
AX-AB-TY3 – Select 2005-2006 Toyota Vehicles
