Ember Introduces Apple Health App Integration with the Ember App, to Monitor and Track Caffeine Consumption

Additionally, starting today, Ember temperature control mugs will be available in select Apple stores throughout the US, CanadaEuropeHong KongMacaoand Singapore.

The new Ember app integrates with Apple Health to give users the ability to track their caffeine consumption as well as set maximum caffeine intake measurements for the day. The app will send a notification when the set amount is reached, so consumers can make an alternative beverage choice. Users will also be able to use the Health app data in order to understand how their caffeine consumption affects their heart rate and sleep patterns, which contribute to an overall picture of health and wellness.

With Ember, users can enhance the taste and prolong the enjoyment of their hot beverage by setting their preferred drinking temperature (between 120˚F – 145˚F) and keeping it there, from the first sip to the last drop. Starting October 17, the new Ember Travel Mug in white is available exclusively at apple.com and in Apple stores in the US and Canada. The Ember Ceramic Mug in black is available at apple.com and exclusively in select Apple stores across Europe.
