ChargePool Purpose

A mobile phone basically combines multiple devices into one portable device, but the various charging accessories required completely defeat the purpose of having an all-in-one device. This is why we set out to design one portable device that encompasses multiple charging solutions for any situation.

While working on what was soon to be ChargePool, we realized that our device was “pooling” in multiple sources of energy to keep the phone charged, and the name “ChargePool” came to life.

Our first prototype was made of corrugated board that was taped together. It was the size of a rock, yet it did not have a place for the wires within.

One year–dozens of prototypes, tons of discussions (arguments),
some intense engineering and design–later,
ChargePool was finally pocket friendly, and it did everything we wanted it to do.

Today, we are proud to present one portable device
that combines multiple charging solutions, ChargePool.

We can’t thank you enough for checking out our project
and helping us make ChargePool a reality.

We know not everyone will be able to support us with a pledge,
so even if you can’t give a dollar or purchase a ChargePool,
if you’re a supporter of ChargePool, you can help us spread the word
on Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, Instagram and anywhere else you can think of!
