SpeakEasy integrates a high performance 24-bit DAC (Digital-to-Analog Converter), certified by Apple “Made for iOS” (MFi) standards, to convert digital signal into analog V-MODA high-resolution sound. With a “signal-to-noise ratio” reaching 114dB, SpeakEasy ensures high reliability and a clear decoding of transmitted signal with minimal noise. The SpeakEasy Cable also features V-MODA’s VAMP headphone amp technology to ensure 31mW output power, avoiding the low-quality amps that are traditionally integrated into source devices. SpeakEasy will not deplete power consumption more than a standard analog 3.5mm cable, with only a less-than-5% variance in power usage (tested when listening to music on an iPhone for 4 hours through Apple Music).
