STOW, OH, December 20, 2019 — At CES 2019 Audio-Technica will be exhibiting its Sound Reality ATH-CKR7TW and Sonic Sport ATH-SPORT7TW true wireless in-ear headphones. Both incorporate the company’s new true wireless technology that eliminates all connecting wires. The ATH-CKR7TW and ATH-SPORT7TW are designed to deliver outstanding wireless audio quality along with the convenience of answering/ending calls and controlling music playback on Bluetooth® wireless devices.

The ATH-CKR7TW and ATH-SPORT7TW will be on exhibit at CES 2019 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Booth 20860, South Hall Lower Level (January 8 – 11, 2019).

Carefully constructed using the highest quality materials, the ATH-CKR7TW (SRP: US$249.00) true wireless headphones deliver extraordinary sound without any wires. The headphones’ sleek design and interchangeable 3D Loop Support provide a discreet yet secure in-ear fit. Conveniently located button controls provide easy operation of phone calls, music playback and volume adjustment.

The ATH-CKR7TW’s specially tuned 11 mm drivers feature a diamond-like carbon coated diaphragm that combines light weight with rigidity for faster response time and reduced distortion. Driver performance is further enhanced by machined brass stabilizers that reduce unwanted resonances, a stainless steel acoustic mesh resistor for improved high-frequency response and other refinements.

The ATH-CKR7TW employs a high-quality D/A converter and amplifier and is compatible with aptX® and AAC (as well as SBC) codecs for the best-possible wireless audio reproduction. The headphones support the latest Bluetooth 5.0 wireless technology.

Available in black and gray, the ATH-CKR7TW offers up six hours of music on a single charge, with its compact charging and protective carry case providing an additional nine hours of use without having to recharge the case. The headphones’ operation can be customized using the new Audio-Technica Connect app for iOS and Android. The ATH-CKR7TW comes with XS, S, M and L-sized eartips and a USB charging cable.

Designed for fitness-oriented listeners, the ATH-SPORT7TW (SRP: US$199.00) true wireless in-ear headphones combine total wireless convenience with exceptional audio quality, a stay-in-place fit, built-in mic and touch controls for smartphone and portable device operation, and more.

The ATH-SPORT7TW features compact ear pieces with ergonomic Freebit® ear fins for maximum stability and comfort even during intense workouts. Available in a choice of black and gray, the ATH-SPORT7TW is certified with an IPX5 sweat- resistant rating and can even be rinsed under a tap. The headphones offer a switchable ambient hear-through function that gives wearers the choice of hearing environmental sounds for safer use outdoors. The ATH-SPORT7TW’s functions can also be personalized from a smartphone using the Audio-Technica Connect app.

The headphones provide 3.5 hours of music on a single charge, and the compact charging carry case can supply a further 14 hours of charge if needed. If the battery is low just before a workout, a handy quick charge function provides 45 minutes of music from a 10-minute charge.

To deliver clear, powerful audio, the ATH-SPORT7TW employs newly designed 5.8 mm dynamic drivers and supports the latest Bluetooth® 5.0 wireless technology. The headphones come with XS, S, M and L Freebit® ear fins, Comply™ foam eartips (size M) with SweatGuard™, XS, S, M and L-sized silicone eartips and a USB charging cable.
