Established in 2006, Divoom was formed by a team of music enthusiasts that absolutely loves playing around with speakers. Over the last 12 years, the Divoom team introduced numerous iconic portable speakers to the market. However, they’re always striving to take their work to the next level.

Back in 2014, Terry, the owner and creator of Divoom, came across several interesting LED gadgets in the San Francisco Maker’s Faire, which utilized the SD card loading image on LED. At that time, there were barely any LED speakers on the market, so he saw an opportunity. In turn, Terry came up with the idea of LEDs in the form of pixel art.

The original concept for Tivoo-Max was a speaker that displayed different colored pixel art. Since the production of the first Tivoo-Max model, our team continuously worked on improving the function and audio on each generation. We jumbo sized it and put a much more serious audio setup, in addition to adding everyday features such as sleep aid, daily activity planner, games and more. The rest was history.
