New York City (March 6, 2019) – Today on Kickstarter, fromaggio launches its smart, automatic cheesemaker that takes technology from advanced factory machines and combines it with the artisanal aspect and convenience of at-home cheesemaking. With fromaggio, cheese is more authentic, natural and healthier than store bought cheese.

The process for making all cheese is quite similar – it is primarily the ingredients and timing that change depending on the cheese.”
To use fromaggio, users simply pour in milk, culture and rennet, choose from a default cheese setting or customize their own, and fromaggio automatically handles the rest. The appliance heats the milk, mixes, cuts the curd, drains the whey, and even presses, resulting in the perfect hard or soft cheese. Fromaggio makes almost any type of cheese, from ricotta and mozzarella, to parmesan, cheddar and more. It can even make healthy yogurts, tofu and other foods by using it as a sous vide. It can take as little as 30 minutes to make fresh cheeses, such as mozzarella, or up to 48 hours for more complex, hard cheeses.
The removable drain and preset cleaning mode makes fromaggio easy to clean and maintain. An LCD touch screen display makes programming easy, and fromaggio also connects to a mobile app, via Bluetooth connectivity, where users can control the machine, order ingredients, and customize and share recipes.
