K40 Electronics Announces New Translucent Arrow Design Integration Option with Radar-Mirror.com

Built-in radar and laser systems display police alerts with arrow indicators in rear view mirror

March 12, 2019, Elgin, IL – K40 Electronics, a premier police radar and laser technology manufacturer announced today its built-in radar and laser systems offer a new translucent alert arrow display with the K40 Radar-Mirror integration option.

Factory Appearance with A Vanishing Display

The Radar-Mirror modification service creates alert arrows that illuminate through the rear-view mirror glass when a K40 radar and laser system detects police speed enforcement. The discreet .08″ arrows vanish and the mirror returns to a factory appearance when the K40 system is not alerting.

Non-Permanent Procedure Also Retains Mirror Auto Dim Function

By utilizing a custom transflective process to display the arrow indicators, the Radar-Mirror service is unobtrusive and 100% reversible. The service also retains the auto dimming function of all rear-view mirrors.

Interior Color Scheme Matches Available

In addition to the standard blue alert arrow display color, red, green, amber, and other custom arrow colors can be ordered to match a vehicle’s interior.

“We feel the K40 Radar-Mirror is the ultimate integrated display solution for a K40 radar and laser defense system,” said Scott Wheeler, Founder and President, Radar-Mirror.com. “Now installers have another location for the standard LEDs provided with a K40 system that’s easy to view, yet looks OEM and doesn’t create a permanent modification to the vehicle.”

Immediate Availability with 24 Hour Turnaround

The new arrow display option for K40 radar and laser systems is available directly from Radar-Mirror.com for nearly all late model vehicle rear view mirror applications currently on the market. Typical mirror modification turnaround time is 24 hours.

K40’s built-in radar detector and laser systems are also immediately available from K40’s nationwide network of authorized dealers and automotive dealerships. With the high level of customization a K40 system offers, drivers can obtain a personal system design recommendation by calling K40’s Consult Line at 800-323-5608.

“Today’s drivers want discreet integration options that uphold the integrity of their vehicle interior. We’re pleased to offer another radar and laser system installation option that can meet dealer and driver needs,” said Rachel Clark, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “The K40 Radar-Mirror offers an upscale alert display that truly enhances the driving experience.”

Since 1983, K40 Electronics has an innovative history of seamlessly integrating radar and laser systems into vehicles with an OEM look and feel.
