GUANGZHOU, China, March 1, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — Robust economic growth in Southeast and South Asian countries isreflected in the growing number of registered buyers attending the 2019 International Signs and LED Exhibition (ISLE 2019), which is set to take place from March 3 to 6 at the Canton Fair Complex in Guangzhou, China. ASEAN and South Asian buyers accounted for 29% and 9.6% of total overseas buyers to ISLE 2018, and organizers expect the figure to rise again this year.
The economies of countries like Vietnam, Bangladesh and India have performed well of late thanks to rising manufacturing sector exports, strong government and private consumption, as well as rising foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows. A UN report estimated that South Asian regional GDP would expand by 5.4% in 2019 and 5.9% in 2020, while ASEAN-wide growth would be 4.8% in 2019 and 4.8% in 2020.
