At 40 Gb/s, Thunderbolt^TM3 is the fastest port you can get on a computer. A single cable now provides up to four times the data and twice the video bandwidth of any other cable, while supplying power. “Thunderbolt^TM3 allows us to push the boundaries of what is possible for creative professionals, and we’re excited to integrate Thunderbolt^TM3 technology into our portfolio of products,” said Liran Shachi, Glyph’s CEO.

The new products include:

• Atom EV SSD – Adding to Glyph’s successful line of Atom, Atom RAID, and Atom PRO portable SSDs, Atom EV combines the speed of an NVMe SSD with the compatibility of USB 3.1 Gen 2. Boasting speeds of up to 1GB/s read and write, packed into our smallest enclosure to date. The Atom EV SSD packs a punch with minimal impact on budget. Available in 500GB, 1TB, and 2TB configurations and expected to ship July 2019. Pricing to be released soon.

 

• Atom PRO-Q – Following on the heels of the Atom PRO, The Atom PRO-Q is our fastest and largest capacity SSD to date. Taking advantage of four (4) NVMe SSDs and coupling that performance with Thunderbolt^TM3, we have created a real powerhouse. With speeds of up to 2,800 MB/s read and write, and offering the ability to run in a number of RAID configurations makes the Atom PRO-Q an incredible asset to creatives working with multi-stream 6K, 8K, and VR workflows. • Atom SSD EFR – We’ve taken our Atom SSD and coupled it with a fingerprint reader to provide 128/256 bit encryption capability to ensure your data stays in the right hands. Up to 420 MB/s read and write speeds. Available in 500GB, 1TB, and 2TB configurations, and expected to ship July 2019. Pricing to be released soon.

 

• Blackbox Plus EFR – We’ve taken our most popular 2.5in mobile rugged HDD, the Blackbox Plus, and coupled it with a fingerprint reader to provide 128/256 bit encryption to ensure your data stays in the right hands. With speeds up to 140 MB/s for HDD configuration and 420 MB/s with SSDs, the Blackbox Plus EFR is as secure as it is fast. Available in HDD configurations up to 5TB and SSD configurations up to 7.68TB. Expected to ship July 2019. Pricing to be released soon.

 

• Blackbox Plus RAID Thunderbolt^TM3 – We started with our StudioRAID mini, made it black, then updated and upgraded every aspect of it. Taking advantage of the latest in Thunderbolt^TM 3 technology, and our most robust RAID chipset to date, the Blackbox Plus RAID is a mobile powerhouse to be reckoned with. Transfer speeds of up to 300 MB/s with HDD configuration and 1,000 MB/s in SSD configuration. Supports RAID 0,1, and JBOD. You can also daisy-chain up to six additional devices for seamless single cable operation. Available in HDD configurations up to 10TB and SSD configurations up to 15TB. Expected to ship August 2019. •  Quad SD + Micro SD Card Reader – Introducing a quad SD and MicroSD card reader built with the same quality and attention to detail you’ve come to expect from Glyph. Ingest up to four SD (UHS-II) cards and four MicroSD (UHS-II) cards simultaneously for a total of eight. Each slot can reach transfer speeds of up to 300 MB/s. • Thunderbolt™ 3 10GbE Adaptor – Introducing the most robust Thunderbolt^TM 3 to 10GbE adapter. A no nonsense, no driver, 10GbE network adaptor built on Thunderbolt^TM3 connectivity. Allowing you to connect your Thunderbolt^TM 3 enabled machine to any shared storage device of Ethernet. Backwards compatible with 5GbE, 2.5GbE, and 1GbE. Expected to ship August 2019. • USB-C Dock – On the heels of our Thunderbolt^TM3 Dock release, we’re introducing a slimmed down version for creative professionals that do not have a Thunderbolt 3 equipped machine. Support HDMI, audio and mic out, 1GbE, and three USB 3.1, gen 1 Type-A ports. Our USB-C Dock allows you to connect all your favorite peripherals with a single cable to your USB enabled computer. • USB-C Travel Dock – Introducing a small and rugged travel dock that allows you to expand your capability and elevate your workflow on the road.
