Charlotte, NC ─ The new WORX® 20V, Power Share, 3 in. Mini Cutter combines power, portability and versatility. Not tethered to a power cord, the go-anywhere mini cutter weighs just 2.4 lbs. (with battery) for exceptionally easy handling and maneuverability.
The 20V Mini Cutter cuts a variety of materials, such as ceramic tile, slate, plastic, aluminum, sheet metal, copper pipe, and thin concrete. A grinding disc also is included for tasks such as removing rust and paint, grinding welds, routing out grout, polishing and sharpening.

The 20V mini cutter has a slim, ergonomic grip featuring a top-mounted, on/off slide switch with lock-on button, as well as a spindle lock button. It is powered by a compact, 20V, MAX Lithium, 1.5 Ah battery. The mini cutter’s no load speed is 19,000 RPM.
As part of the WORX 20V Power Share program, the mini cutter’s battery is interchangeable with all WORX 20V DIY and lawn and garden tools, for cost savings and convenience.
The mini cutter accepts 3 in. cutting or grinding discs with a 3/8 in. bore, and has an M6 spindle thread. These relatively small, thin discs reduce resistance and motor strain when cutting through materials, which boosts efficiency. Metal cutting disc thickness is 3/64-1/16 in.; abrasive cutting disc thickness is 1/16 in.; and grinding disc thickness is 5/32 in.
Changing discs is quick and convenient. While pressing the spindle lock button, the operator loosens the clamping bolt at the center of the disc with the provided hex key, and then swaps discs.
The WORX 20V, Power Share, 3 in. Mini Cutter (WX801L, $79.99) includes one 20V MAX Lithium, 1.5 Ah battery; a 20V battery charger; three cutting discs; and a grinding disc. A Tool Only version without battery and charger (WX801L.9, $49.99) also is available.
