The Rugged Ridge Max-Terrain Fender Flares find inspiration from classic flat-fender styling featured on Jeeps’ earliest models and blend with a refined rendition of the current JL factory flare, combining to make a truly unique styling statement.
Each Max-Terrain Fender Flare is constructed from a durable injection-molded thermoplastic, chosen specifically for its flexibility and impact-resistance. The flares mount in a position high-to-the-body, delivering greater tire clearance for increased suspension travel while off-road. The rear flare surface where it meets the body has been is re-contoured to help alleviate the troublesome trapping of stones and debris against the painted surface.
The flares feature a distinct dual-textured finish that blends nicely with JL factory trim or can be prepped & painted for those who prefer a color-matched theme. Integrated DRL tubes (Daytime Running Lights) highlight the flares leading edge, adding an appealing accent while also improving on-road visibility.
