Holly Hill, FL – January, 2020 – Metra Electronics’s popular TurboTouch ® dash kit with a built-in touchscreen is expanding from 4.3 inches to a 7-inch screen size for the latest Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300 models. Metra’s TurboTouch kits feature an integrated touchscreen that retains the factory steering wheel functions and safety features, including the factory backup camera. The touchscreen and hard buttons in the kit also retain and control all climate and most vehicle customization functions normally lost when removing factory radio components. Metra Electronics® to Launch New Dash Kits Designed for Compact Shallow Mount Receivers with 7” Screens
Holly Hill, FL – January, 2020 – As the size and fit of new radios continues to evolve, Metra Electronics® is launching a new 107 Series of dash kits designed specifically to fit most shallow mount receivers with a 7” screen. The new 107 Series allows installers to seamlessly replace head hunts that do not fit the standard aftermarket Single-DIN or Double-DIN size. These kits feature a patent-pending design that will work with receivers like the Alpine iLX-W650*, with special brackets included for installation of the Pioneer DMH-C2550NEX and DMHC2500NEX 6.8” touchscreen in-dash receivers. They will also fit most compact shallow mount 7” screen receivers with minor or no dashboard modifications, making for a more cost-effective installation process for these vehicles with restricted space in their dashboards. More >>>
