| Metra Electronics® to Launch New Dash Kits Designed for Compact Shallow Mount Receivers with 7” Screens Holly Hill, FL – January, 2020 – As the size and fit of new radios continues to evolve, Metra Electronics® is launching a new 107 Series of dash kits designed specifically to fit most shallow mount receivers with a 7” screen. The new 107 Series allows installers to seamlessly replace head hunts that do not fit the standard aftermarket Single-DIN or Double-DIN size. These kits feature a patent-pending design that will work with receivers like the Alpine iLX-W650*, with special brackets included for installation of the Pioneer DMH-C2550NEX and DMHC2500NEX 6.8” touchscreen in-dash receivers. They will also fit most compact shallow mount 7” screen receivers with minor or no dashboard modifications, making for a more cost-effective installation process for these vehicles with restricted space in their dashboards.
