METICULOUSLY RESTORED TO ITS VINTAGE HERITAGE WITH ONE LS3 POWERED EXCEPTION

KISSIMMEE, FL – March 26, 2020 – E.C.D. Automotive Design, known for its prestigious, high-end luxury vehicles, introduces its latest fully restored Series 2A. Aptly named Project Henry, E.C.D. has fully restored this original British classic to its true nature.

For Project Henry, it was essential to the client that it remains true to its 1960’s heritage, while still being fully capable of handling daily drives. The original drivetrain was replaced with a powerful LS3 V8 engine with a five-speed manual transmission and performance braking all around, the restoration’s only semblance of modern detail.

The exterior and wheels are finished in the classic Land Rover color, Chawton White, in a full gloss finish. Project Henry’s interior is also coated in Chawton White throughout, contrasted only by its original styled chestnut-colored hand-stitched vinyl seats and cubby box. True to its history as a utility vehicle, Project Henry seats only two while the rest of the interior remains spaciously open for everyday use. Meticulously restored, this Series 2A was built to be as close as possible to its original spec, so additional modern features within this build are non-existent.

“These Series restorations are always absolute showstoppers. The stark contrast between the classic style and modern performance will never get old,” says Tom Humble, co-founder of E.C.D. Automotive Design.

The bespoke vehicle builder delivers accuracy to Project Henry’s every detail, from the placement of its side-view mirrors to its classic gauges. Simply designed to retain its charm and character, Project Henry makes its mark among the Series 2A line-up from E.C.D.
