NASA Awards Facility Assurance, Inspection, Monitoring and Occupational Safety Contract

NASA has awarded the Facility Assurance, Inspection, Monitoring and Occupational Safety (FAIMOS) II contract to Mission Technology of Cleveland to provide support services for the Safety and Mission Assurance Office (SMAO), as well as the Center Operations Directorate (COD) at NASA’s Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia.

This contract has a maximum potential value of nearly $38 million. The one-year base period begins May 1 and is followed by four one-year option periods.

This follow-on contract includes support for industrial hygiene, occupational safety, facility safety assurance, materials analysis, and mission assurance. Additional support for COD includes construction inspection, construction management and facilities monitoring.
