The New Warmonger Hero Storms the Battlefield, Available Now

SAN FRANCISCO, CA— August 6, 2020 — Today, Ubisoft announced the release of For Honor’s newest Hero as part of its Year 4, Season 2 Title Update 2.0. The Warmongers are grandiose warriors determined to become the new leaders of Heathmoor. Coinciding with the arrival of these new Warriors, a Free Event Pass will offer players exclusive rewards. For Honor is available on PlayStation®4, the Xbox One family of devices, and Windows PC.

Players can now unlock the Warmonger as a playable Hero. Her weapon, a flamberge, is a two-handed elegant and deadly sword. Warmongers want to honor Apollyon’s legacy and start the Age of Tyranny. Starting today, players can purchase the new Warmonger Hero from first-party stores for $7.99 as part of a package that includes the new Hero, one exclusive Ornament, one Elite Outfit, and seven days of Champion Status. Players can also unlock the package on August 20 for 15,000 Steel in-game.

From today until August 27, For Honor players will get the chance to win new rewards through a Free Event Pass. All players can make their way through the 35 tiers and earn unique rewards such as a new Mood Effect, a new Ornament, new Battle Outfit, and more!

Finally, For Honor will also be releasing a major update to its core combat mechanics. Based on players’ feedback and following months of testing, this update aims at improving the consistency of the core combat experience and enhancing the viability of general offense across the entire set of attacks in the game, for all heroes. For more information on this new system, please visit: forhonorgame.com/fight-system-debrief.
