Pittsburgh native serves aboard Navy warship in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. – Petty Officer 3rd Class Joseph Luden, a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, serves aboard a U.S. Navy warship operating out of Norfolk, Virginia.

Luden joined the Navy nearly two years ago. Today, Luden serves as an information systems technician aboard USS Forrest Sherman.

“I didn’t know what I wanted to do after high school, but I knew the Navy would train me in a profession and provide a way of life,” said Luden. “So, I enlisted.”
