Pittsburgh native prepares to man the rails aboard USS Blue Ridge

MUARA, Brunei (Aug. 3, 2023) – Electronics Technician 2nd Class Brandon Kendall, from Pittsburgh, prepares to man the rails on the main deck of U.S. 7th Fleet’s flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19) while arriving at Port Muara, Brunei, Aug. 3. Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and, as 7th Fleet command ship, routinely interacts and operates with allies and partners in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
