Gameforge is turning up the heat — and the chills — in AION Classic EU’s upcoming 3.7 update, Wrath, arriving April 23! Following last week’s announcement, we’re diving deeper into the lore and challenges of two new high-stakes dungeons: Burning Blood Fortress and the Dokkaebi Realm.
🔥 Burning Blood Fortress – Face the Fury of Yaksha
Prepare to descend into a lava-drenched gauntlet where a broken fire dragon waits to be unleashed. In this 6-player dungeon for levels 56–60, players will face Yaksha — a tormented beast born of fire, magic, and failed experimentation. Teamwork, timing, and precision are essential as a unique solo challenge mechanic adds extra layers of difficulty and excitement.
Key Features:
- Intense group-based combat with time-sensitive mechanics
- Solo “branding” trials within the group encounter
- Rewards: Burning Salvation/Subterranean Weapons, Young Dragon Lord’s Wings, Level-55 Stigmas
- Available up to five times weekly; resets Wednesdays at 9 AM CET
Lore Snapshot:
The Arch Dyad’s twisted experiments with the spirit of an imprisoned fire dragon split the creature into unstable halves, ultimately fusing back into Yaksha — a blind, furious entity devoid of its former intellect or soul. Now sealed within the fortress, Yaksha rages against his bonds, threatening to break free and devastate Laphsaran.

🌑 Dokkaebi Realm – Enter the Domain of Shadows and Spirits
Venture into a haunting alternate dimension steeped in myth and sorrow. Suitable for level 56–60 players in parties of up to six, this spectral dungeon challenges players to uncover hidden secrets, survive ghostly encounters, and confront Gangcheol — the vengeful alter ego of the fire dragon Imoog.
Key Features:
- Diverse ghostly environments, from misty groves to cursed rivers
- Strategic combat: Use Dokkaebi Hats and Red Bean Paste to counter spiritual defenses
- Bosses: Murmuring Gwisin, Janggi Master Gwangsang, and Mirror Gwisin
- Final Showdown: Defeat Gangcheol in his frenzied form for top-tier rewards
- Rewards: Temple Keeper and Aeon Temple Guardian gear, Immortal and Burning Subterranean Weapons, Noble Fire Dragon King’s Wings
- Available up to five times weekly; resets Wednesdays at 9 AM CET
Lore Snapshot:
Corrupted by Lady Tiamat’s time-bending manipulation, the peaceful land of Bhulrasan twisted into the Dokkaebi Realm. Here, Imoog’s agony birthed Gangcheol — a being of pure vengeance. Only the bravest Daevas can breach the ghostly rifts and cleanse the realm of its cursed legacy.
