PITTSBURGH PLAYS OZZY

Live Nation Pittsburgh and 102.5 WDVE are proud to present PITTSBURGH PLAYS OZZY at the Roxian Theatre—ONE NIGHT ONLY – Friday, December 12, 2025! This year marks the SIXTH installment of the Pittsburgh Plays concert series.

This semi-annual event brings together music lovers to experience the talents of local artists through the music of legendary performers who have shaped generations. Pittsburgh Plays’ mission is to build community within the city’s music scene by connecting artists, encouraging collaboration, and fostering creativity. Previous Pittsburgh Plays events have honored Tom Petty (2018), Paul McCartney (2019), Fleetwood Mac (2021), Queen (2022), and The Cure (2024).

Even before his passing, we were inspired by the epic tribute concert that reminded the world just how massive metal’s impact on culture truly is. Ozzy Osbourne didn’t just witness the rise of metal— he helped forge it. Inspired by his legacy and a landmark tribute concert even before his passing, this year’s show celebrates the music that shaped a genre and a city built on steel. MUSICIANS & SINGERS: If you’re interested in being part of this year’s show, sign up via our 2025 Artist Application on our website. This event is not only a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow local musicians but is also a paid gig. The deadline to apply is 9/5, with the lineup announced.
