AAA: Some Relief at the Pump in PA

Gas prices are five cents lower in Western Pennsylvania this week at $3.309 per gallon, according to AAA East Central’s Gas Price Report.
Nationwide Trends:
As November begins, motorists are paying less for gas than they were a month ago. The national average has fallen two cents over the past week to $3.03, once again moving closer to the 3-dollar mark. According to new data from the Energy Information Administration (EIA), gasoline demand increased from 8.45 million barrels per day last week to 8.92 million. At the close of Wednesday’s formal trading session, West Texas Intermediate rose 33 cents to settle at $60.48 a barrel. The EIA reports crude oil inventories decreased by 6.9 million barrels from the previous week. At 416.0 million barrels, U.S. crude oil inventories are about 6% below the five-year average for this time of year.
The national average per kilowatt hour of electricity at a public EV charging station went up by 2 cents this past week to 38 cents.
