AT&T and iM Media Labs Unveil Strategic Collaboration to Revolutionize In-Vehicle Entertainment at CES 2026

AT&T and iM Media Labs are excited to announce a groundbreaking collaboration aimed at transforming the in-vehicle entertainment experience. Unveiled at CES 2026, this new offering from AT&T Connected Car™ will integrate iM Media Labs’ innovative media platform with AT&T’s 5G connectivity, creating a refined approach to connected car technology.

Building on AT&T’s extensive network experience in the automotive sector, the companies are developing this platform to support customized configurations for automotive manufacturers and a more personalized touch to their customers. By integrating with AT&T’s 5G network, the platform is intended to enable automotive manufacturers to explore new business models and potential revenue opportunities that will better allow for a more bespoke experience.

The collaboration aims to simplify access and improve the user experience by introducing a single native interface to popular music, podcasts, and audio entertainment platforms. This unified hub is designed to allow drivers and passengers to enjoy a wide range of continuous listening content, powered by AT&T’s fastest and most reliable wireless network1.

Smart Curation and AI Integration

iM Media Labs has reimagined digital radio as a hyper-personalized, 1:1 listening experience. Powered by agentic AI, near real-time data, and state-of-the-art speech synthesis, the iM Media Hub is intended to broadcast a quality audio experience unique to user preferences. The iM Media Labs content platform delivers a constantly evolving listening experience built for the AI age with features that may include curated playlists, AI-DJs, and local news, weather, sports, and information.

Seamless Integration and Scalability

The platform is being designed for efficient integration and deployment and broader OEM scalability, for automotive manufacturers. Its flexible architecture is intended to support compatibility across various platforms and creates an opportunity for manufacturers to develop a more appealing experience for their customers.

Driver-Focused User Experience

With a focus on driver-first UX, the platform supports voice and glance based interactions designed to reduce manual inputs by the driver so they can keep their eyes on the road and hands on the wheel. This capability aligns with AT&T’s dedication to a safer and more intelligent driving experience.
