GIBSON GARAGE LONDON -THE ULTIMATE GUITAR EXPERIENCE- CELEBRATED TWO-YEAR ANNIVERSARY WITH GIBSON GARAGE FEST

Gibson, the iconic and leading global instrument brand, proudly celebrated the two year anniversary of the Gibson Garage London, the first Gibson store outside of the U.S., with the Garage Fest London, a two-week celebration of music, culture, and iconic artistry. Opened in February 2024, the Gibson Garage London has quickly become a cultural landmark and a vibrant part of the city’s music community. Hundreds of thousands of visitors have explored the space, where guests can pick up and play more than four hundred and fifty guitars. The experience has welcomed musicians, collectors, and fans from around the world, establishing the venue as a dynamic home for live performance and a strong supporter of London grassroots music. Since its inception, the state of the art live stage at Gibson Garage London hosted a wide spectrum of talent, from emerging artists to celebrated names including Sir Brian May, Johnny Marr in partnership with TCT, Yungblud, the Jack Bruce Foundation, Halestorm, and others. The venue also presented special moments for fans and creators alike, among them the Gibson Custom Noel Gallagher Les Paul launch, the Tony Iommi pickup launch, and the Tom Petty Wildflowers exhibition. At the Garage, guests enjoy meaningful access to artists through meet and greets and intimate conversations that bring them closer to music. To honour the two year milestone, Gibson curated Garage Fest London, a two-week programme of exclusive exhibitions, artist showcases, and signature events. The festival shone a light on both the legacy and the future of modern music, featuring rare instruments, historic stagewear, significant music memorabilia, and thoughtful discussions with influential creators. “Gibson Garage London has become a place where artists and fans discover, learn, and create together. The energy during Garage Fest London captures exactly why this space matters.”-Lee Bartram, Head of Commercial and Marketing EMEA at Gibson As it enters its third year, Gibson Garage London will continue to champion artists at every stage of their journey while offering fans an unmatched way to experience the sound and spirit of Gibson. Garage Fest London opened with a public exhibition commemorating the 50th anniversary of punk. The display featured instruments, stagewear, and memorabilia on display from Captain Sensible of The Damned, Leigh Heggarty of Ruts DC, Mick Jones of The Clash, Matt West of Neck Deep, CJ Wildheart of The Wildhearts, and Laurent “Lags” Bernard of The Gallows.

The talk explored a black and white collection of 225 previously unseen images that document Placebo’s defining early period across their first three albums. Page shared creative insights, access stories, and the atmosphere of the era, offering an intimate portrait of the band’s evolution and the moments that shaped their identity.
