With surging public interest in NASA’s Artemis II mission, Interstellar Arc at AREA15 will debut its own “Space Week” celebration May 1 – 10, commemorating National Space Day on May 1 and National Astronaut Day on May 5. As the awe-inspiring, visionary experience from the Emmy®-winning creators at Felix & Paul Studios, Interstellar Arc transports guests to the 25th century, when humanity embarks on its first interstellar space exploration program. Here, visitors explore vast, gravity-defying environments assisted by the Diplomat, an artificial intelligence designed to accompany and guide participants through the spaceship.
“Space Week” at Interstellar Arc provides visitors ages 8 to 17 with an opportunity to explore the cosmos through the VR attraction’s interactive storytelling and hands-on discovery. Younger guests visiting during “Space Week” will receive an “Interstellar Explorer” laminate and a souvenir Mission Crest pin. Starting May 2 through May 10, guests ages 8 to 17 arriving between 3 and 5 p.m. will also receive a special added experience: a breathtaking eight-minute virtual reality tour of the International Space Station. Filmed by Felix & Paul Studios, this experience features the first-ever cinematic 3D 360° footage captured in the vacuum of space.
Produced in partnership with NASA and TIME Studios, this additional experience allows young explorers to witness low Earth orbit as if they were floating alongside the astronauts themselves. This special VR experience is part of the touring exhibition Space Explorers: The INFINITE, produced by Felix & Paul Studios and PHI Studio, currently showing in Atlanta and arriving in Chicago this fall.
During “Space Week,” first-time guests may also sign up to receive 10% off full price Interstellar Arc purchases made through interstellararc.com. Discounts will also be available for Nevada residents, veterans and children ages 8 to 17, creating broader access to the experience during the promotional period. Designed to celebrate humanity’s growing curiosity about space exploration, the offer aligns with increased global attention on NASA’s crewed flybys of the moon, scientific discovery and the future of interplanetary travel.
Just as NASA’s Artemis program is inspiring a new generation of explorers, Interstellar Arc’s “Interstellar Explorer” promo aims to spark that same curiosity in young minds all summer long. Beginning June 1 and available through Aug. 9, children ages 8 to 17 can enjoy specially priced admission starting at $39. These young guests will also receive the souvenir “Interstellar Explorer” laminate, Mission Crest pin, the special eight-minute International Space Station VR experience and—to keep the sense of discovery alive at home—a NASA Star Wheel kit, giving families even more opportunities to experience the wonder of space exploration together.
Interstellar Arc is located in the AREA15 District at the south end of Zone 2: The Terminals. Parking is free for Nevada residents; convenient surface parking is available on the northwest side of AREA15’s original main building in Zone 1: The Bunkers and in the parking garage west of Zone 2. Hours are noon to 9 p.m. daily. Tickets are available at www.interstellararc.com.
