Free League Opens Pre-Orders for Invincible – Superhero Roleplaying

Earlier this week, Free League Publishing opened pre-orders for Invincible – Superhero Roleplaying, the official tabletop RPG based on the comic book by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley, and the acclaimed animated series.

The game launches July 30 at Gen Con 2026 and in hobby stores worldwide. Pre-orders placed through the Free League webshop include immediate PDF access.

Players can create their own heroes, choose from nearly 70 powers, and build campaigns around the danger, relationships, and difficult choices that define the world of Invincible. They can play within the established universe or create their own superhero setting.

Pre-order through the Free League webshop, or request a review copy through the form.

The pre-order lineup includes:

  • Core Rulebook: Create a hero at any power level and explore nearly 70 superpowers, fast and brutal combat, campaign tools, solo play, and more than 60 characters from the Invincible universe.

  • Starter Set: Jump into the game with rules based on Free League’s acclaimed Year Zero Engine, six pregenerated heroes including Invincible, Atom Eve, Rex Splode, and Monster Girl, plus maps, tokens, cards, custom dice, and the three-act introductory adventure Metro Mayhem.

  • GM Screen: A deluxe screen featuring franchise artwork, useful tables, and key rules for the Gamemaster.

  • Dice Set: A set of 10 engraved six-sided dice designed specifically for the game.

  • Power Cards: A deck featuring the powers from the Core Rulebook for quick reference during play.

Gen Con 2026 attendees can also pick up a printed copy of Superhero Season, a new two-hour adventure in which a massive bounty is placed on the heroes’ heads, at the Free League booth #2449.
