Today, Free League Publishing opens pre-orders for Alderland, a new epic campaign for the retro-fantasy survival roleplaying game, Forbidden Lands. Pre-orders placed through the Free League webshop include immediate PDF access.
Designed as a new take on classic fantasy roleplaying, Forbidden Lands puts players in the role of raiders and rogues hellbent on making their own mark in a cursed world. Across an expansive map, players can explore as they see fit, discovering lost tombs, fighting horrifying monsters, and hopefully living long enough to build a stronghold to defend.
In Alderland, players can experience an epic campaign module, expanding the world of Forbidden Lands by venturing to the war-torn kingdom south of Ravenland. The Silent Knights stand above the gorge far below, watching as elves, humans, dwarves, orcs, and other kin are steadily gathering. Nothing of this nature has ever been seen before, but the guards stand quiet, sworn to an eternal silence as the forces below grow.
