Introducing the Marantz MCR 60n

The complete Marantz experience in one elegant, compact system

September 9th, 2026: Marantz, one of the world’s most revered names in premium audio for more than 70 years, proudly introduces the MCR 60n (North America) and MCR 60n DAB (Europe only), a new generation of compact all-in-one hi-fi systems designed for listeners who demand exceptional sound, modern connectivity and effortless everyday enjoyment.
The new MCR 60n represents the most capable compact music system Marantz has ever created. Combining CD playback, network streaming, HDMI eARC compatibility, turntable connectivity and premium amplification within a beautifully proportioned chassis, it delivers unmistakable Marantz sound quality while simplifying every aspect of modern music listening.
Inspired by the latest Marantz design language and carefully tuned by the Marantz Sound Master, MCR 60n combines decades of hi-fi heritage with today’s most advanced streaming technologies in a single elegant component.
Compact by design. Complete by nature.
MCR 60n has been designed around a simple philosophy: deliver everything modern music lovers need without compromise.
Whether streaming high-resolution music, rediscovering a cherished CD collection, connecting a turntable or upgrading television sound, MCR 60n brings every source together into one intuitive system that fits naturally into modern living spaces.
Its compact footprint makes it equally at home in a dedicated listening room, home office, bedroom or living room, while two refined finishes, in Matte Black and Marantz Champagne Gold (not available in North America), allow it to complement a wide variety of interiors and loudspeaker designs.
The Signature Marantz Sound
True to every Marantz product, MCR 60n has been engineered first and foremost for performance.
Its new power supply delivers greater current capability and increased amplifier headroom compared to older models, resulting in improved dynamics, stronger bass performance and greater control across a wider range of loudspeakers. Output power has been increased to 65 watts per channel into 4 ohms, providing a substantial performance improvement over its predecessor while maintaining the warm, detailed and emotionally engaging Marantz sound signature.
With four channels of amplification, including Bi-Amp, Parallel Bridge-Tied Load (BTL) and dual speaker outputs, the MCR 60n allow users to optimize performance for different loudspeaker systems, or even power two independent listening zones from a single compact amplifier.
Designed for every way you listen
MCR 60n has been created for the way music lovers enjoy entertainment today.
The addition of HDMI eARC allows seamless integration with modern televisions, enabling high-quality stereo playback of TV sound while supporting HDMI-CEC volume control and Dolby Digital / Dolby Digital Plus decoding.
For vinyl enthusiasts, a newly integrated MM phono stage makes connecting a turntable effortless, while the precision-engineered front-loading CD mechanism continues Marantz’s longstanding tradition of exceptional compact disc playback.
High-resolution music streaming is equally comprehensive, supporting PCM up to 384kHz/32-bit, DSD up to 11.2MHz, all powered by the latest HEOS® networking platform.
Smarter streaming, simpler control
Built around the latest generation of HEOS®, MCR 60n offers a faster, more intuitive setup experience together with seamless access to streaming services, internet radio and whole-home multi-room audio. Of course, Spotify, TIDAL and Qobuz Connect are also supported, as is AirPlay2 and Roon Ready, giving users maximum flexibility over how they choose to stream their music wirelessly.
Four customizable Smart Select presets give instant recall to your favourite sources, listening modes and volume settings with a single press of a button on the remote control, making everyday operation effortless.
Bluetooth® functionality has also been significantly expanded, supporting both receive and transmit modes, meaning you can not only conveniently send music via Bluetooth from your phone, but also use your wireless headphones to listen to music or TV content late at night.
Tailored to every room
Recognising that every listening environment is different, MCR 60n introduces advanced system optimisation features typically reserved for much larger separates.
A configurable subwoofer output with adjustable crossover settings allows precise low-frequency integration, while Dirac Live Room Correction is available as an optional upgrade for stereo playback, enabling users to calibrate their system to virtually any listening environment for improved imaging, tighter bass and greater tonal accuracy.
Variable audio outputs also allow MCR 60n to function as a premium streaming preamplifier, making it equally suitable for driving active loudspeakers or integrating with existing Marantz components and vintage Hi-Fi systems. An Ethernet network port, USB input, optical digital input and DAB tuner (not applicable outside European markets) round out the comprehensive specification.
Every aspect of MCR 60n has been refined to enhance the ownership experience. Its redesigned rear panel simplifies installation, while environmentally conscious packaging reduces plastic usage through responsibly sourced materials and recyclable paper-based protective elements, all without compromising the premium presentation expected of a Marantz product.
One system. Unlimited possibilities.
Whether serving as the centrepiece of a compact music system, an elegant alternative to a soundbar or a sophisticated desktop Hi-Fi solution, MCR 60n delivers remarkable versatility without sacrificing performance.
It is the perfect expression of Marantz’s philosophy, combining timeless craftsmanship, musical authenticity and intuitive technology in a product designed to be enjoyed every day.
The all-new Marantz MCR 60n and MCR 60n DAB (Europe only) will be available from authorized Marantz retailers and Marantz.com from September 15th 2026.
